Theory driving test and hazard perception test
As a new driver, you have to pass a Driving Standards Agency theory and hazard perception test before you can take the practical driving test. You will take your theory at one of the centres around the country using touch screen computer technology.
As long as you read the relevant information and follow the advice given by your instructor, you should find the test easy to pass.
We offer full theory hazard test support and will advise on what you need to know to ensure that you are fully prepared.
Practical test preparation
You should prepare for the driving test by completing a mock test. This ensures that you can drive safely and without assistance for 45 minutes. It allows you to get used to the 'driving test feeling' and to gain confidence in the fact that you can drive equally well in a test situation.The single most common reason for test failure is that people attempt the test before they are ready.
At Rivalz Driving School we are proud of our high pupil pass rate and we will not put your forward for your test until you are fully prepared.
The fee on test day is £66 and this includes pick up and drop off, a one and a half hour lesson and use of car whilst on test.
Pass Plus courses available
Rivalz Driving School offer an additional six hours of tuition with no formal test. You will cover motorways, country roads, town driving, driving in bad weather and night driving.
